No Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Accommodation Services

Hotel bookings made through bookhotelstay.com are contracts for the provision of accommodation services for a specific date or period. Under German law, § 312g (2) sentence 1 no. 9 BGB expressly excludes such contracts from the statutory right of withdrawal that otherwise applies to distance contracts.

This exemption exists because accommodation is reserved for a fixed period, and a late cancellation typically leaves the provider unable to re-let the room to someone else.

Cancellation Under the Applicable Rate Conditions

Regardless of the absence of a statutory right of withdrawal, every booking is subject to the individual cancellation terms of the room rate you selected. These are shown transparently before you complete your booking and vary by hotel and rate:

• Free cancellation up to a specified date
• Partially refundable (e.g. minus the first night)
• Non-refundable (typically offered at a lower price)

Requesting a Cancellation

To cancel an existing booking, please contact us at info@bwebinternet.solutions with your booking number. We will then check with the hotel whether, and to what extent, a refund is possible under the applicable rate conditions.
