Hotel Indigo NYC Downtown - Wall Street by IHG

Mixed reports: several guests praised cleanliness and 'very clean' rooms, while others reported poor housekeeping (rooms not cleaned for days) and 'abysmal' cleanliness in at least one stay.

Mixed service sentiment: many staff praised as friendly and helpful (front-of-house and restaurant staff), but multiple guests reported unwelcoming or impolite front desk interactions and difficulty with requests (late checkout, towel delivery).

Consistently positive: excellent, central/optimal location for visiting NYC/financial district mentioned repeatedly as a primary advantage.

Frequently cited issue: rooms are often very small; some guests liked the décor and comfort but many complained about cramped size and occasional room assignment issues (views facing brick wall).

Mixed: modern design and listed amenities received praise, but the rooftop bar — a commonly advertised amenity — was often closed, unavailable, or separate/managed independently, causing disappointment.

Generally positive: several mentions of good value and reasonable pricing for food; one explicit 'Value for money' headline and multiple satisfied guests regarding comfort vs. price.

Positive: breakfast and restaurant food were frequently praised as good and well priced; minor negatives include poor coffee on one stay.

Overall mixed-to-positive: location, breakfast/food, and some friendly staff drive positive sentiment, while small rooms, occasional housekeeping failures, rooftop amenity issues, and intermittent unfriendly staff temper enthusiasm — resulting in a generally decent but not universally recommended stay.
