Guest reviews
What travellers said
Rating based on guest reviews collected by our booking partner. Scores are out of 10.
8.1 / 10
Very good
5,245 reviews
Cleanliness
6.8 / 10
Multiple guests mention unpleasant smells, mold in a fridge and lower-than-expected cleanliness; cleanliness is a clear negative in several reviews.
Service
9.4 / 10
Many reviewers praise friendly, professional and helpful staff (including specific praise for reception and pet arrangements), so service is strongly positive.
Location
9.6 / 10
Repeatedly described as unbeatable/ideal — near Luxembourg Gardens, Cluny Museum, Notre Dame and well connected — location is one of the hotel's strongest points.
Room Quality
6.5 / 10
Frequent complaints about small rooms, outdated or smelly furniture, thin walls, bathtub-only bathrooms and need for renovation reduce room-quality scores.
Amenities
7.8 / 10
Breakfast and lobby/dining areas are praised, and pet arrangements noted, but issues such as tiny elevators, missing toiletries and occasional mold lower this score.
Value for Money
6.6 / 10
Several guests felt the price was high for the amenities offered and room condition, leading to below-target value-for-money sentiment.
Food and Beverage
9.8 / 10
Breakfast is frequently described as excellent/amazing with good selection (tea variety noted), making F&B a clear positive.
Overall Experience
8.3 / 10
Overall impression is positive due to location, service and breakfast, but dampened by room size/quality and some cleanliness issues — overall a good stay with notable drawbacks.
